OBAMA ENJOYS VACATION AFTER EIGHT YEARS IN THE WHITE HOUSE

When Obama began as president, I could hardly spot a strand of grey hair on his head. However, when he left, I could hardly spot a strand of black hair on his head. There is no gainsaying that the task as president has taken a lot out of him.

Reports say that Obama and family first flew to Palm Springs, California after Trump’s inauguration where some persons spotted him enjoying golf and desert air.

Though I’d have loved to join them, they were off before I could pack my bag (chukles) for Branson’s own piece of the British Islands. The Obamas were then seen hanging out with friends and loafing about the beach for more than a week.

I couldn’t expect more from the ex US president after two terms in office. He sure deserves to have a good time and he is currently having a good time away from the tension and worries of the White House which Trump is currently dealing with.

In Nigeria we don’t have leaders who take vacations after their tenures but during their tenures under the guise of medical vacation. And I wonder where the “vacation” part came from. If its health related then he has gone for treatment and not vacation.

Again, in Nigeria, we have leaders who finish from one position and begin to strategize on how to spend the rest of their lives in the National Assembly. Shall they all die in power? In the end, isn’t it just vanity?
