“WE EMPLOYED MINIMAL ACTION.” POLICE RESPONDS TO ALLEGATION OF KILLING 11 BIAFRANS DURING SOLIDARITY MARCH.

Biafran Solidarity March for Donald Trump in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

The Nigerian Police force has reacted to the allegation that 11 pro-Biafran protesters were shot dead during an attempt to control a solidarity march for Donald Trump held by the Biafrans in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

Via a statement by Nnamdi Omoni a spokesperson of the Rivers State police command, the Nigerian police denied killing Biafrans during the solidarity march.

According to Omoni; “To the best of my knowledge, there was no casualty as the police merely employed minimal action, which involved the use of tear gas to disperse protesters.”



The Biafran people have always expressed unwavering support for Trump while being optimistic that he will assist them actualize an Independent Biafran State. Hence, the solidarity march on his behalf.

However, the rally is believed to have turned sour when the police and other security operatives barged into the scene to confront them.

The confrontation, according to Emma Powerful who is the media and publicity secretary of IPOB, left no fewer than 11 Biafrans dead and many others injured with bullet wounds.

Notwithstanding Emma’s claim, the Nigerian police has denied the existence of any casualty. It claimed to have employed minimal action using only tear gas to disperse the protesters thus confirming the incident but denying that there were deaths.
