THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS A NEW PRESIDENT

Donald Trump, formerly president elect, is now President of the United States of America after his inauguration which was held on the West Front of the United States Capitol Building in Washington D.C. yesterday Friday the 20^th of January, 2017.

Trump who since his victory at the US presidential election had acquired the somewhat recognized title of President-elect, discarded the “elect” part while Barack Obama acquired “former” after Trump’s swearing in by Chief Justice John Roberts.

Donald Trump is now the 45^th President of the United States of America, a rather peculiar number, upon his inauguration which marked the commencement of his four-year term with Mike Pence as Vice President.

Today marks his first day as President of the country and I hope he had a lovely night rest because if I were in his shoes, I probably wouldn’t have slept.
