THE PICTURE IS OLD! NIGERIANS REACT TO NEW PHOTO OF BUHARI IN LONDON

After a photo purportedly Tweeted by Buhari of himself in a London suit watching Channels, another photo has gone viral on social media suggesting that the president is alive.

The photo was first posted on Facebook by Aishat Alubankudi, a blogger in the UK and then by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its Twitter page.

According to the Photo, the Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, was with Buhari as he can be seen sitting in a relaxed position across from the president.

However, Nigerians who are better informed have pointed out that the photo is old amongst other flaws.

Oke Umurhohwo, a Twitter user confirmed that Governor Amosun was not in London but in Sagamu in Nigeria for an event on the same day the photo was allegedly taken.

The photo which was subsequently retweeted by the Special Assistant to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu and the Minister of Aviation, Captain Hadi Sinka, appears to be false and misleading.

It seems the presidency and the APC will like Nigerians to believe that the president is alive and well, but so far, they have all appeared to look like clowns as their attempts have been futile.
