NORTHERN GOVERNORS PRESSURIZE OSINBANJO TO RESIGN

Acting president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo.

Certain reports have been lingering around the social media to the effect that Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo who is currently acting as president, is being pressurized by Northern governors to resign.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Presidency whose habit is to deny all things has once again denied that the reports are true.

Senator Obafemi Ojudu who described the reports as rumours and fabrications had said:

“I have read many ridiculous stories that the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo is being held hostage by some governors who are trying to compel him to resign.

“I have equally received several calls regarding this; the story is simply not true. It is a fabrication. Don’t be a purveyor of fake news.”

Recall that President Buhari is currently in the UK on what is believed to be a medical leave. Many people believe that the president will not return as word has even circulated that he is dead.

If the preceding statement be true, Vice-President Yemi Osinbanjo will become president. Thus, it appears that Northern leaders in anticipation of this position have been pressurizing Osinbanjo to resign.

Nobody can thwart the plan of God. Those men who call themselves nothern governors together with all their cohorts can make as much noise as they want-but they will fail woefully.
