The Head of Administration of Omega
Fire Ministries (OFM), David Apelorioye, disclosed in a statement that the
leadership of the Ministry has dismissed one of its pastors by name Joseph
Aiyedun for participating in the MMM scheme.
The pastor was said to have been
relieved of his duties after the leadership of the Ministry discovered that he
used the ministry’s name and bank account to register in the Ponzi sheme which
offers 30% profit on any amount invested.
The leadership of the OFM led by
the controversial cleric, Johnson Suleman who describes himself as an apostle, can
best be remembered for the infamous death sentence he pronounced on the Kaduna
State Governor last year.
Apostle Suleman clearly disapproves
of the Ponzi scheme which disapproval has been captured in one of his sermons
through which he condemned the MMM scheme and described it as demonic and
satanic.
He also said MMM participants need
prayers.
