BOMB EXPLOSION AT UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI. PROFESSOR AND FIVE OTHERS DEAD.

Sources place the number of casualties of the University of Maiduguri Bomb blast at 5 including a professor, Aliyu Mani.

Two suicide bombers were said to have found their ways into two different mosques at the University where they detonated their bombs killing themselves and others.

Apart from the 5 persons who lost their lives, at least 15 other persons were seriously injured according to Nigeria National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

Eyewitnesses confirm that the suicide bombers hit the University while some Muslim staff and students were observing their early dawn Fajr prayer at 6:30am Nigerian time.
